Six Sigma Black Belt Exam Prep For ASQ

About Six Sigma

Six Sigma is a business management strategy originally developed by Motorola and populated by General Electric in 80's

Six Sigma seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects (errors) in manufacturing and business processes using a set of quality management methods. It creates a special infrastructure of people within the organization ("Master Black Belt","Black Belts", "Green Belts","Yellow Belt" etc.) who are experts in applying these methods to solve problems. Each Six Sigma project follows a defined sequence of steps and has quantified financial targets.

In recent years practitioners have intensively applied Six Sigma methods in both manufacturing and service sectors to achieve the goals of improving products or services quality, increase customer satisfaction, saving money and continuous process improvement.

Course Description:

This course provides a comprehensive cover of Six Sigma techniques that enable the participants to grasp the essential skills to perform the role of a Six Sigma Black Belt. Through the coaching and in-class exercises, the candidates receive practical experience from a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt who holds the practitioners hand-in-hand to demonstrate their knowledge and capabilities on how to identify and implement value added Six Sigma projects in their organizations.  After completing this course, practitioners will learn the critical elements of acquiring the Six Sigma black belt certification.
